Multinational professional services firm Turner & Townsend has announced that Patricia Moore will serve as MD for the company's Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region in addition to her role as UK MD.

In her new role, Moore will work to cement Turner & Townsend’s position as the premier programme partner across real estate, infrastructure and energy and natural resources in the EMEA region.

Further, as part of changes to its UK leadership in preparation for the next wave of growth, Andy Scott will serve as MD for both infrastructure and defence in an expanded remit and James Corrigan will serve as US MD.

Scott’s existing role as defence MD will now expand to also assume responsibility for the infrastructure division, which he assumes from Corrigan.

Scott joined Turner & Townsend in 2011 as a senior project manager, and he has managed teams across landmark schemes including Heathrow, Hinckley Point C and Edinburgh Trams.

Corrigan is moving to the US after 20 years advising clients across major infrastructure programmes in the UK. He joined Turner & Townsend in 2005 and has since led the firm’s programme advisory team, worked on major programmes such as HS2 and Crossrail and, most recently, spearheaded Turner & Townsend’s UK infrastructure business.

These changes come as Turner & Townsend begins its business plan to 2030, building on strong growth over recent years, including a 683% increase in the firm’s global turnover from $950-million in 2020 to $7.43-billion, the company says.

This growth has been accelerated by the company’s strategic partnership with real estate developer CBRE Group, which enabled an expanded programme, project and cost management offer, Turner & Townsend says.

“Our business goes from strength to strength and these changes reflect our increased scale across the globe and set us up for the next phase of growth. We are in a strong position in the UK, having evolved our major programmes capability and footprint over several years,” says Moore.

“Across our work, clients are navigating a complex and uncertain environment. Our UK, EMEA-wide and global footprint means we have a deep understanding of the market so we can manage risk and keep investments on track.

“I thank James for his exceptional contribution to our UK business and our work in infrastructure. Building on James’ work, Andy will bring a wealth of experience to his new position, and thereby drive forward major programmes across two areas that are essential to national renewal, namely infrastructure and defence,” she says.
